Ok, here’s how you do it:
- Listen to your absolute favorite music. Seriously, it works every time. Put your ear buds in, and crank up the volume! (My personal go-tos are The Black Keys, Pink, needtobreathe, any 80s mix and Kelly Clarkson’s angry album.)
- Have therapy sessions with friends/coworkers/acquaintances/strangers/actual therapists. Ahhh, talking feels so good.
- Find something funny to look at on the interwebs. One of my favorite go-tos is http://emergencycompliment.com/.
- Skip the nightly exercise routine. Go get Chinese food instead. You’ll thank yourself later.
